She was predeceased by: her parents, James Newell and Charlotte Newell (Brookshire); and her husband Clarence A. Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Christy, Tracey Smith of Lake Alfred, Fla., Christopher and Jeni Thomas of Owens Crossroads, AL.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
