He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Haak and Ethel Haak (Mason); and his siblings, George, Charles and Joanne.

He is survived by: his daughter Kirsten Kelli Haak Eldridge of Lake Alfred; his sister Dorothy "Dottie" Rewis of Winter Haven; his grandchildren, Brilee, Kaden, Eli and Kinsley; and his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Christopher, Penny and Jolie.
