With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mamie Sue Dean of Lady Lake, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 19, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mamie Sue departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mamie Sue may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mamie Sue leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. R. Commander Goddin and Maggie Lou Goddin Commander; her husband Allen Dean; and her sister Linda Sue Simmons. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia McCoach (Bill McCoach) of The Villages, Florida; and her grandchildren, Amber, Thad and Ramsey Parnell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel (230 Park Ave, Defuniak Springs, FL 32435). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Ponce de Leon Cemetery.
