It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Eugene Nelson in Lady Lake, Florida, born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother June; his stepfather Harold Smith; his father Francis Nelson; and his brother Randy Nelson. He is survived by: his daughter Heide; his son-in-law Craig Howard; his grandsons, Clayton, Christian (Mikayla) and Camden Howard; his brother Gary Nelson (Darlene); and his aunt Sonja Weigand (Ronald).
