With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mella Marie Doctor of Lacoochee, Florida, born in Madison, Florida, who passed away on June 2, 2022 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Parker and Louise Parker; her husband Joseph Prince Doctor Jr.; and her siblings, Helen Bates, Melba Parker and J. W. Parker Jr. Mrs.
She is survived by: her daughter Tyrhonda Grant (Troy); her grandchildren, Kayla Grant, Mia Grant, Layla Grant, Jade Grant and Londyn Grant; her stepchildren, Walter Doctor, Joseph Doctor III (Leila), Christopher Doctor, Loretta Burns, Joanne Dennard and Francis Thomas (Rouzard); her siblings, Klemetis Parker-Pye (Jeffery), Lavon Parker-Pearson (Anthony) and Ira Parker Sr.; her goddaughter Tawanna Futch; her close friends, Minister Alfreda Wheeler and Sister Laura Thomas; her extended family, Tony Tyson and Phillip Parker; and her aunts, Cora Royale (Pete) and Karen Buford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
