Altamese Wrispus Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Altamese Wrispus of Lacoochee, Florida, who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Lewis and Josephine Evans Lewis; her husband Johnny "Tab" Wrispus; her siblings, Annie Bell Lewis Lee and James "Mudcat" Grant; her nephew Elvin "Bo" Lee; and her sister Lucille Rooks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bernadette Louise (Samuel Sr) and Evelyn Wrispus Williams; her grandchildren, Samuel Wright Jr. (Terrie), Ebony Baxter Pickett (Rubin Jr.), Avé Wright Gayner (Evanders), Jon Baxter, Benéa Ousley Denson and Keri Ousley Miller (Roosevelt); her sister Johnnie Mae Lopey; her daughter Debra Ann Creer; and her friends, Carlotta Meeks and Due. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, dozens of godchildren.
