He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurelio Escalante and Mercedes Ventura Escalante. He is survived by: his children, Bryan Escalante (Lorena Contreras) of Lehigh Acres and Gladis De Santiago Escalante of LaBelle; his siblings, Puirino Escalante, Pedro Escalante, Hilaria Escalante and Felipa Escalante; his grandchildren, Stephanie De Santiago, Edgar De Santiago, Adriel De Santiago and Brylee Escalante; and his great grandchild Aislynn Corona. He is also survived by many extended family members and close family friends.
