It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Faye Tilley of Kissimmee, Florida, born in Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert E. Ellington and Julia Walker Ellington; and her husband Robert. She is survived by: her children, Dawn Annette Handcock, Robert Shawn Tilley, Pamela Cherise Tilley Yates and Rodney Dean Tilley (Tammy); her grandchildren, Robert Bradley Shumbera (Kristen), Ryan Cole Shumbera, Janelle Cherise Shumbera (Charlie), Juleah Cheyenne Yates, Jordan Cherise Yates Jones (Austin), Calli LaShay Yates (Adam), Jacey Delaney Yates (Brandon) and Macey Lynn Tilley; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Zoey Shumbera, Ethan, Elijah, Emerson Shumbera, Shasta, Hank Heninger, River, Stoney Chambers, Chancey, Jennings Jones, Gatlin Stockdale, Memphis, Steele and Slate Casey; and her sister Marilyn Annette Bennett.
