He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbridge Hammon and Erma Hammon (Pratt); and his siblings, Norman, John, Rufus Hammon, Lucille Schlotman, June Hansen, Blanche Ross, Dorothy Kimball, Maybeth DeBurger, Edith Hammon and Delores Hammon.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Fugitt; his daughter Toni Keeling; his grandchildren, Kyle King and Tiffany King; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth King and Wesley King. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meadors Funeral Home - Clever Chapel (304 Drive St, Clever, MO 65631). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dabney Baptist Church (1103 Old Michigan Rd, Holton, IN 47023).
