He was predeceased by: his parents, Cary Buford Kent and Adelle Whitehurst Kent Lindsey; and his stepfather William Lindsey. He is survived by: his wife Becky Kent; his children, Lydia Williams (Bobby), Tera Nunery (Chad), Samuel Kent (Constance) and Aaron Kent (Crystal); his grandchildren, Luke, Nick, Hayden, Matthew, Halie, Mason, Liberty, Blake, Justin, Joshua, Rebekah, Jacob, Emileigh, Laban, Samuel, Kerrigan, Abram, Serenity and Isaiah; and his siblings, James "Jimmy" Kent (Marita), Sherry Kallivokas (Nick), Cary Kent "Ronnie" (Dianna), William Kent "Billy" (Karen), Doug Kent (Yvette) and Tanya Kent. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
