He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Wilson and Helen Wilson; his daughters, Terrie Wilson Kelley, Wendy Lee Wilson and Shirley Bolt Estes; and his brother Gene Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Donl Wilson Atkins of Kinard, FL and Billy Wilson of Savannah, GA; and his brothers, Tim Wilson of Atlanta, GA and Danny Wilson of Oxford, GA. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
