Stephen Lee McBride Obituary
Mr. Stephen "Steve" Lee McBride 55 of Keystone Heights passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, in Gainesville suddenly. He was born March 17, 1966, in Roanoke, Virginia and was owner of Keystone Buildings, LLC.
Steve started out building in ground pools in Gainesville; he then began a career working with Jim Temple Construction over 20 years before becoming the owner and operator of Keystone Buildings, LLC. He was a member of Keystone Heights First Baptist Church and loved reading, especially his Bible and the Daily Bread booklet. Steve enjoyed billiards and was an avid golfer along with being outdoors fishing and grilling.
Steve was preceded in death by his brother Robert "Scott" McBride. His survivors are a son Stephen L. McBride, Jr. of Salem, Virginia; parents Alfreeda (Ratliff) Cadd of Keystone Heights and Robert McBride of Ocala; grandson Corbin Ryker McBride of Salem, Virginia; nephew Robert "Dillon" McBride of Gainesville; fiancé Geraldine Anderson of Gainesville. Also left behind are aunts, uncles, cousins along with a host of lifelong friends that will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 2- 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2022, with Pastor Justin Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
