He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Carter and Mae Carter (Dempsey); and his sister Claudette. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anne Carter (Parks) of Keystone Heights; his children, Sheri Tyer (Tom) of Lake City, Angelia Marie Preston (Will) of Merritt Island and Douglas William Carter (Britney) of Keystone Heights; and his sister Ann Carter of High Springs.
