He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Chester and Lola Catherine Tate, Sr. (Hicks). He is survived by: his wife Rosa Tate (Griffin); his daughters, Misty Tate of Keystone Heights, Crystal Miller of Keystone Heights and Mandy Kirk of Keystone Heights; and his siblings, Emmett Chester Tate, Jr. of Jacksonville, Brenda Darlene Kelly of Jacksonville, Shirley Jean Tate of Jacksonville and Anita Denise Aiken of Jacksonville.
