He was predeceased by: his parents, Mida Mae Turner and Victor Lee Turner; and his siblings, Marita Anderson (Kermit), Ray Turner and Charles Turner (Jane).
He is survived by: his daughter Cara Kirkland; his granddaughter Kendall Kirkland; his daughter Rae Lynn Kennon; and his sisters, Ann Whinery (David), Charlotte Jean Chandler (Gene) and Carolyn Sue Turner. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
