He is survived by: his wife Marie Payton; his sons, James Rogers of Key West, FL and Justin Rogers (Brooke) of Malabar, FL; his grandchildren, Sadie Rose Rogers and Noah Jaxson "Jax" Rogers of Malabar; and his cousins, Murl Rogers (Mary) of Volga, WV, Roger Scott (Julie) of Volga, WV, Julia Mae Scott (Brent) of Buckhannon and Betty Jane Simpson.
