She was predeceased by: her parent Willie Wardell (Hattie A. Swift); her husband Clarence M. Hopkins, Sr.; her son Clarence M. Hopkins, Jr.; and her son-in-law Victor G. Young, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Anelia C. Young of San Diego, CA; her daughter-in-law Ida Thames Hopkins of Flint, MI; her grandchildren, Leontine Thompson (Ralph) of San Diego, CA, Monique Irby, Jr. (Elvin) of Flint, MI, William McNeil of Phoenix, AZ, Kenneth McNeil (Michele) of Waco, TX and Clarence M. Hopkins III (Mia) of Flint, MI; her great grandchildren, Shamiyah, Diandria, Sidney, Anelia, Malia, Leontine, Leslie, Elexis, Kameryn, Sanai, Kenneth II, Kameron, Elvin, JocQuese, Jocoby, Dakota, Kenneth "Maurice" and Carter; her sister-in-law Muriel McClendon Wardell of Detroit, MI; and her goddaughters, Brenda Poindexter (James) and Mary Ussery of Flint, MI. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Hopkins was a resident of Flint for over 43 years and was a faithful member of True Foundation Church.
