It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara A Serafim of Key West, Florida, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah McClure and George McClure; her siblings, James Lyle, Louise Chick and Betty Grace Ackaway; and her great grandchild Logan Winger.

She is survived by: her husband Jose Serafim (Joe); her children, Tobie Serafim (John Robertson) of Norfolk, VA, Jose Serafim of Canton, NC, Suzanne Wainscott (Larry Wainscott) of Sante Fe, TX, Lynn Serafim of Pompano Beach, FL and Tina Montoya (Alex Montoya) of Roswell, NM.; and her sister Jean Smith of Virginia Beach, VA.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
