She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Whitmer and Lottie Whitmer (Brown); her husband Paul "P. J."; her grandsons, Mark and Scott Adams; and her siblings, Mary Jane Howell and Morton B. Whitmer.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Adams of Taylorville, IL, Jane Kutch of Taylorville, IL and Jim Lindsey (Kathy) of Taylorville, IL; and her grandchildren, Lindsey Schaefer (John), Kelly Bland (Dennis) of Taylorville, IL, J. Clark Frisina (Lee) of Glen Burney, MD, Lori Sassatelli (Brad), Brad Adams, Kate Frisona-White (Jack) of St. Louis, MO, Molly Bee Friesland (Charlie) and Jim C. Lindsey. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
