It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cheleotis (Key Largo, Florida), born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Mark Cheleotis; his parents, Tassos Cheleotis and Olga Corfias Cheleotis; and his siblings, George Cheleotis, Athena Cheleotis, Anna Anerine, Helen Cheleotis and Bonnie Castillo.
He is survived by: his children, Lu Murray (Ray), Joni Hodgson (Steve), Johnny Cheleotis (Renee), Trisha Champion and Nickole Gilliam (Andy); his stepdaughter Kelly Nation (John); his daughter-in-law Lourdes Choi Cheleotis; his grandchildren, Travis Murray (Jennifer), Shawnda Thompson (Billy), Blake Hodgson (Stephanie), Michael Hodgson (Miranda), Brandon Cheleotis (Brandy), Kyle Cheleotis (Elizabeth), Heather McDowell (Judson), Sephie Gillam and Nicholas Nation; and his brother-in-law Roy Castillo. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.
He gave generously to almost every charity, so in lieu of flowers you are invited to give to a charity of your choice in his name or honor.
