He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Vasiliki (Spirakis); and his brother Constantine. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Joanne Kontopirakis, Peter Kontopirakis, Alika Mecker and Stephanie Nikolovdakis; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Samantha, Amanda, Isabel, John, Alexia, Yianni, Costa, Jacqueline and Sydney.
