She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Simmons and Evelyn Simmons; her former husband Bob; her son Benjamin (Jen); her grandchild Ari; and her siblings, Dale, Beverly, Tina, Peppy, Jeffrey, Patty, Keith and Richard. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and in-laws.

“I just heard that Cheryl left us. It seems like yesterday we were hanging out together. It was actually more like 30 years ago. Every June 17th I thought of her and Christmas when I hang the sand dollar ornament she made me on the tree. I was so thrilled to see her open her shop. I just wish we could have gotten together one more time. We’ll never forget her. Marlene and Dave Tighe”
