We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2023, at the age of 92, Madalee Rae Nurkin of Key Biscayne, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Spencer Nurkin; and her brother Wilmer Leydig. She is survived by: her daughters, JoAnn Feldman (Mark) and Jill Van Hook (Eric); her siblings, Clyde Leydig (Alice Fey), Willa Lehman (Gary) and Lana Oliver (Louis); and her granddaughter Raychel Feldman.

Both helped build this country girls confidence while I was building my career in the big city, Baltimore. Always put together, perfect hair, makeup and always dressed in her classic and chic style. I will miss her tremendously and strongly believe that someday we will meet again. I love you.”
