It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Hendrix of Kenansville, Florida, born in Hyden, Kentucky, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Lee Hendrix; his sister Janice Faye Couch; his nieces, Bridget Camille Hendrix and Taylor Rae Nolan; and also Nannie Kaye Maggard Hendrix.

He is survived by : his siblings, Larry Hendrix (Gail) of Wooton, Kentucky and Jewel Hendrix of Kenansville, Florida; his son Christian Trey Hendrix of Kenansville, Florida; his nieces, Natasha, Taylora and Melody; and his nephew Riley.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations may be made to the Walker Funeral Home for other families in need, which was very typical of Lonnie.
