He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Rydell. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his sister Ruth Johnson; his daughters, Dr. Margret Rydell (Harry Aslanian) and Amy Werner (Brian Werner); and his grandchildren, Elise, John, Alexander, Theodore, Annika and Penelope.

We will remember Ralph as one of the kindest men we have had the pleasure to know, always glad to see you and talk to you. We will also remember him as a physician. Ralph and Bill DeWeese set the standard for neurosurgery in Tampa, with integrity, quality and leadership. He will be sorely missed. Brad Bjornstad and Kathy Corrigan”
