He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonso and Caroline; his brother Alphonso; his son Paul; and his grandson Johnpaul.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ferraiolo; his children, Beth, Diane, Christine, Catherine, Constance (Robert Callahan), Brian (Jamie Guevara), Natasha (Joseph Holt) and Leonard (Stephanie Baer); and his siblings, Mary, Carolyn and Joseph.
