She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Owens and Ellie Owens; her husband Charles Sanders; and her siblings, Noel Waddle, Ethel Godfrey and Onelia.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Williams (Linda Phillips), Renee (William Wooten) and Melissa Jenkins (Darrell); and her siblings, James T. Owens "Bud", Carolyn Weathers, Martha Knight and Edith Steiner. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
