He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Bender and Anne Bender; his son Kenneth Alexander; and his brothers, Clare (Helen) and John (Marcia).
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; and his children, Stephen Bender (Marcy), Lois Sánchez (José), Philip Bender (Stephanie) and Ruth McGuire (Mark). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, Ken asked that memorials or donations be made to the Grace Giving Fund at Calvary Baptist Church, Winter Garden, FL.
