With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katy Avery McGlynn of Kathleen, Florida, born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on May 16, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Denny Fox and Judy Fox; and her brother Stewart Fox. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Sean Ernst McGlynn; her children, Brendan Alan McGlynn (Rachel), Rory Patrick McGlynn (Jen), Cassie Avery McGlynn (Scot) and Julia Ilona McGlynn (Kaden); her granddaughters, Iris Avery Lee, Isabella Paulina McGlynn and Ilona Avery McGlynn; and her sister Sally Fox Conklin (Art).

In lieu of flowers the family ask that you consider donations to Friends of Wakulla Springs, Bicycle House Tallahassee, or a local Al-anon chapter.
