He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Blais and Marie Blais; his siblings, Jean Brachold, Dollard, Mike and Bernie; and his granddaughter Jillian Blais.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Kathy); and his children, Joseph III, Julie Hite (Jeff), Lisa Thurman (Pat), Marianne Dineen (Marty) and Theresa Molthen (Dan). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
