She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Boothe Bowden and Geneva Campbell Bowden; her son Charles "Chuck" Edward Ficker, Jr.; and her husband Charles Edward "Ed" Ficker, Sr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Ted Bowden (Anita), Carole Laughter (John) and Page Hysong (Jim); and her children, Wendy Ficker Anderson (Dana), Sandy Ficker Vandercook (Philip), Sherry Ficker Hayes (Rick) and Kim Cato Ficker. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; and her ten great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home (250 Center St, Jupiter, FL 33458). Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park (19351 SE County Line Rd, Tequesta, FL 33469).
