He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick J. Smith and E. Lillian Smith (Callahan); and his brother Edward Smith. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie "Nancy" Smith (O'Rourke); his children, Patrick Smith (Mary) of Wickford, Deborah Fox (Joe) of Warwick and Clare Arnold (Patrick) of North Attleboro; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Courtney, Michael Fox, Brenna and Lillian Arnold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
