He is survived by: his wife Sieglinde Zimmermann; his children, Katharina Tirita and Helmut Robert Zimmermann (Maria); his grandchildren, Heather LaScola (Steve), Greg Tirita Jr. (Amanda), Kevin Tirita and Kimberly Tirita (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Casey, Van, Brenna LaScola, Harper, Liam, Zoie Trita and Eliana Hoffman; his brothers, Anton (Renate) and Robert Zimmermann (Brigitte); and his sister-in-law Krista Zimmermann.
