Courtney Randall Longdon Obituary
On January 6th, 2022, Courtney Randall Longdon passed away, and at 79 years of age, entered into eternity.
Courtney, or "Corkie," as he was affectionately known as a child, was born on February 24th, 1942 to Eugene Harold Longdon and L’Estelle Bonné Grable Longdon.
Courtney was preceded in death by his father, Eugene, and his mother, L’Estelle. Also by his brother Ronald (Ryan) Alan Longdon, sister, Sharette Adele Longdon Munshower. and niece Ronnda Munshower.
When he was in his mid twenties, he had an entire room devoted to his CB radio hobby, and it was then that he acquired his nickname, "Chuck."
A man of various talents and interests, Chuck, also known as "C.R.," made his mark on the world of business.
He founded his company, Site Data, in 1986. A self-made businessman, he took pride in his professional image, answering his phone with the greeting “Site Data!” whenever someone called.
He also had a love of music, and was in a doo-wop band, for which he and his brother “Scooter” sang. Members of that band are still playing today as the Dick Tady Orchestra.
With a thirst for adventure, Chuck earned his pilot’s license and took to the skies. Those times were special to him, and when his former beloved cat, "Aunt Edna," passed on, Chuck buried her in his pilot’s jacket.
His legacy of kindness to animals is borne through his dear cat, Catwo, who now resides with Chuck’s sister, Deena. Catwo was always by his side, and was repayed with Chuck’s love. An outspoken vegetarian, He advocated for the humane treatment of animals throughout his life.
He loved riding his Rune motorcycle, and visiting with some of his dearest friends and loved ones. A visit to Pat Taylor was part of his daily routine. He also enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Jenny Whitebloom, and her children Kevin Traynor, Katelyn Rhiel, and Sarah Whitebloom.
Chuck is survived by his daughters, Lisa Lynn Ruby (Gary) and Lourie Ann Tate (Jerry) and his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Gary Jr., Amber, Julia, Jace, and Chrissa and his great-grandchildren, Adelyn, Oliver, Amy, and Lily.
Chuck is also survived by his sister Deena Maudelle Longdon Ruppel, her husband Michael Ruppel, and their sons, Dylan and Bryce Ruppel.
Other survivors are Robert Munshower, son of Ronnda Deenette Munshower and niece Beth Adele Munshower Samaniego, with husband Dean Samaniego, their son Hayden, and daughter Sophia.
