He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stephen Austin and Charlette Austin; his siblings, George Linem and Brown University; his children, Linda Austin Pond and Gary Austin; his siblings, George Lineham and Susan Robinson; his wife Barbara Austin; and his sons, Robert Charles "Chuck" and Craig Austin. He was also cherished by his eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
