He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine "Katie" Beert; and his son James Beert. He is survived by: his parents, Eugene Beert and Josephine Lauwers; and his children, Marlene Wingate of Vero Beach, Matthew Beert (Amiee) of Saipan, MP, Thomas Beert (Missy) of Palm City and Joseph Beert (Sam) of Jensen Beach. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
