She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent James and Anna Lucia Tagliaferro (Lutzo); her husband Donald M. Lynch; her children, Donald J Lynch and Donna M. Sailer; and her siblings, Salvatore, James Jr. and Frances P. Sasala.
She is survived by: her sister Jeanette Messina; her children, MaryAnn Englesbe (Rick) of Lakewood, NJ and Kevin Lynch; her son-in-law Michael Sailer of Pleasant Hill, CA.; and her grandsons, Erik Englesbe (Angela) and Tyler Englesbe (Alexa). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Joan's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's hospital or the Jersey Shore Animal Center.
