With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Lounsbury of Jensen Beach, Florida, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on May 6, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Leon Macfadden, Sr. and Ethel Rita Kovacs Macfadden; and her brother Joseph Leon Macfadden, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Lounsbury of Concord, NC; her children, Stephen Lounsbury (Cathy) of Lincolnton, NC, Therese Lounsbury (Mary) of Wilmington, VT and Judith Moore (Scott) of Davidson, NC; her grandchildren, Ryan Moore (Melanie), Amanda Costner (Brett), Colleen Lounsbury, Patrick Lounsbury, James Wakulsky and Olivia Genella; her siblings, Joan Butler of Holly Ridge, NC and Robert Macfadden of Delray Beach, FL; and her sister-in-law Sue Macfadden of Jensen Beach, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
