He was predeceased by: his parents, Willow Boswell and Claude Boswell Sr.; his siblings, Frances Carboni and Claude Boswell Jr.; and his son Benjamin "Bobby" Boswell.

He is survived by: his daughters, Denise (Ken Curtis) of Yulee, FL and Connie (Stephen Tsarnas) of Jensen Beach, FL; and his grandchildren, Zach Poynter of Orlando, FL, Savannah Clark of Lakewood, CO, Chelsea Brock of Louisville, KY, Trent Boswell of Louisville, KY and Camerin Henderson of Florida.
