He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pittman and Juanita Pittman; his wife Gloria Pittman; and his brother Greg Pittman. He is survived by: his children, James Owen Pittman (Michaela) of Lake City, FL, Ryan Pittman (Niya) of Gainesville, FL, Nicole Gleason (Chris) of Valdosta, GA, Scarlett Clifton (William) of Jasper, Brittany Whiddon (Bobby) of Jennings and Jennifer Pittman of Jennings; his sisters, Tammy Moffses of Lake Park, GA and Angela Akerman (Mark) of Hoover, AL; his grandchildren, Dylan Blanton, Landen Crews, Riley-Jase Gleason, Nathan Wheeler, Makenna Wheeler, Aubrey Whiddon, Eli Whiddon and Landyn Clifton; and his great grandchild Lincoln Blanton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harry T. Reid Funeral Home (901 4th St NW, Jasper, FL 32052). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (6592 NW 48th St, Jennings, FL 32053).
