He was predeceased by: his parents, Anson M. Johnson and Edith Shiver Johnson; and his wife Elaine Smith Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Anson Curtis "Curt" Johnson, Jr. (Rebecca Gay Johnson) of Valdosta, GA. and Mitzi Johnson Boutwell (Bryan) of Valdosta, GA.; his siblings, Alfred Johnson of Macclenny, FL., Francis Johnson Nicholson of Lake City, FL. and Sybil Johnson Allen (Everal) of Jennings, FL.; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Dustin, Parker and Sarah.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Burnham Christian Church 4520 NW County Road 146, Jennings, FL 32053.
