He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Hendricks and Mamie Hendricks; his former wife Martha Hawsey Hendricks; his daughter Ramona Hendricks Rhode; his daughter-in-law Nell Hendricks; and his sisters, Mabel Campbell, Mildred Golden and Lula Belle Hendricks.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Hendricks; his children, Melinda Madison (Paul) and Howard Hendricks; his stepdaughter Kristen Sorrells (Phillipp); his grandchildren, Eric Rhode, Stephen Rhode, Will Madison, Tristen Sorrells, Tylen Sorrells, Mariah Rollins (Scott) and Brooklyn Sorrells; and his siblings, Flora Cole of Dyersburg, James (Mary Frances), Barnett (Mary Evelyn) and Donald (Rachael). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
