He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. and Vidella Ivie; his siblings, Ray Ivie, Ruth Newell of Utah and Glenna Carlson of Utah; and his grandson Aaron Pawlonek.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sue Gandy Ivie; and his children, Pam Pawlonek (Charles) of Russellville, Malisa Jackson (Mark) of Milton, John Ivie (Gina) of Jay and Joseph Ivie (Kathy) of Bossier City. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
