He was predeceased by: his father William Izell; his brother-in-law Lawrence Hampton; and his son Brian Izell. He is survived by: his mother Ruby Strickland Izell; his children, Jason "Jake" Izell (Lisa) and Roxanne Amerson; and his siblings, Charles "Buddy" Izell (Cheryl), Darrin "Bear" Izell (Teresa), Ann Jenkins (Jody), Vicky Hampton and Denise Morgan (Ron). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
