He was predeceased by: his parents, James Royals and Jane Royals; and his siblings, J. W. Royals, Tommy Royals, Clarence "Dink" Royals, Mavis Daniels and Francis Deese.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Royals; his stepsons, Wesley Driggers (Shannon) of Port Orange, FL and Clay Driggers (Stephanie) of Jasper, FL; his grandchildren, Bethany Bowen (Jared), Zachary Driggers, Joseph Driggers, Caleb Driggers and Adam Driggers; and his nephews, Tommy Royals of Welborn, Jay of Dover, TN and Jeff Royals of Dover, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8095, P.O. Box 1523, Jasper, FL 32053, in Lamar's honor, continuing his legacy of support for his fellow servicemen and women.
