She was predeceased by: her parents, George Strickland and Zenobia Bell Strickland; her husband William E. Izell; her son William Roland "Bo" Izell; and her grandson Brian Izell.
She is survived by: her children, Charles "Buddy" Izell (Cheryl), Darrin "Bear" Izell (Teresa), Ann Jenkins (Jody), Vicky Hampton and Denise Morgan (Ron). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 11 great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
