He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Gude, Sr. and Christine Williams; his siblings, Annie Carolyn Gude, Michael Gude, Leroy Gude and Willie Frank Gude; his daughter Carolyn Gude; and his stepfather Sammie Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Detrecia Gude; and his children, Johnnie Mae Armstead (Lindsey), John Lawson (Laura), Patricia Gude, Donna Gude, Patrick Gude (Barbara), Idela Gude, Oscar Gude IIII, Angela Gude and Deborah Gude. He is also survived by Grandchildren, 22 great- grands a host of nieces, nephews, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
