He was predeceased by: his mother Penney Pry; his grandfather Smallwood; his father Virgil D. Wothey; his siblings, Michael Lowman, Mac McDonald and Penney Scott; and his mother-in-law Mildred Bellflower.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Worthey; his grandchildren, Misty Herndon (Gerald), Destiny Worthey, Dwain Worthey (Maggie), John Byrd (Amanda) and Christina Byrd; his sister Sharon Grantham; and his grandchildren, Karoline, Katheryne, Kennadie Herndon, JaeLynn Hart, Teiraney, Terry Lemming, Kale, Carter Worthey, Arickson, Derikson Byrd of John Kyser, JJ, Bentley, Jordan, Tori, Cheyann Byrd and Barbara Fink.
