It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilton Stokes (Jacksonville, Florida), born in Baldwin, Florida, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Oscar Stokes Sr. and Hi Parshel Crews; his siblings, Leah Bell Greene, Zelma Wallace, Madeline Frost, Ina Jean Chapman and Herman Stokes Jr. Addition; his daughter Bonnie Jean Stokes; and his wife Marian Oliver of Virginia.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Bonny Beth; his daughter Sandy Luhman (Dirk) of Rosebud, MT; and his grandchildren, Bonny Beth Olson (David) of Billings, MT and Rex Luhman of Rosebud, MT.. He is also survived by Twenty-seven nieces and nephews; many great and great great nieces and nephews and friends.

Those desiring may make donations to the First Baptist Church of Baldwin or the Baldwin Little League Association in lieu of flowers.

“Dear Stokes family, We were so saddened to learn of Wilton’s death. He was a special friend and knew he would be, the moment we met. We were looking forward to taking him to lunch at “Everybody’s “ when we come from Idaho to Florida in February. He will remain a special memory for us .
