We bid farewell to William Frederick Scholl Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 4, 2024 at the age of 82. William Frederick touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandson Owen. He is survived by: his wife Jan Scholl; his children, Jonathan Scott (Dawn), Jessica Leigh (Steve) and Kirsten Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Jessica, Tyler, Billy, Justin, Jenna, Christian and Zachary; and his great grandchildren, Leia, Nora, Ryan and Amelia.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Nemours Children's Hospital, 1600 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803 in honor of his great love who he/we lost too soon, Owen Cappella.

“I was so sad to hear of Bill's passing. He served as our pastor at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Manasquan, NJ from 1986 to 1996. He was a wonderful caring pastor and very involved with the congregation and adult and youth activities. Sending my condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed.
